So I’ve installed the 16 Pad extension, and did just a bit of script editing. Originally, in the Edit field, the Name was listed as:
So I just changed it to
Likewise, the Push Action was originally listed as
so I likewise changed all the numbers to the next 8, up to 16.
In the Color field, what shows up originally is
so likewise, I changed them all from 1 to 8, to 9 to 16.
At this point, most everything works like I’d like it to, except for the Hot Cue Colors on the pads in the software (and my controller) echo the colors from pads 1 thru 8. And all the cues from 9 to 16 are white in the waveform display at the top.
I did look at all of this script info for cues 1 to 8 for any clues, but obviously there is some build-in code that determines the color, and displays that on the pads in the software, on my controller, and on the wave form.
So the question is, is it even possible for cues 9 to 16 to be different colors than the same for cues 1 to 8?
I did go in and manually edit the color field for 9 to 16 to
I’m aware I can go in and edit the color of a cue, including 9 to 16, but really don’t want to have to do that for every song.
So is there a way to set colors for cues 9 to 16 and have them ‘stick’ for all songs?
`var 'hc_page' ? cue_display 9 : cue_display 1`

color '#7C86FF'. and that does seem to “stick” across all songs, but the waveform colors are still white.
