how can i make virtual dj + mac work with pioneer 3000 cdj's?

It's plug n play on Mac, no need of any driver.
But depending on the connected DJ mixer, you may need to read this too .. https://www.virtualdj.com/manuals/hardware/pioneer/clubsetup/index.html
So the actual question is , which DJ mixer will you be using ? The Audio setup and connections (LINK or USB) may differ from case to case.
