The VirtualDJ Minmum Specs page always has the answer for "are the machine specs good enough" question.
However, especially in the Windows world, extra care needs to be taken to prepare the machine for DJ usage. It normally involves bloatware removal and System tuning for performance (e.g. disabling power saving features). This VirtualDJ Optimize Wiki Page is a good start for things to do in that regard.
Maybe also do a google search on machines to see if there are any well known problems with professional use for the machine you are considering, just in case there is some serious problem that could affect it when djing.

I am also thinking about a new laptop. Hopefully the RTX4060 can do realtime stems. The laptop that I am looking at also has that gpu.
