Hi Guys
So I have basically spent the last 6 months cleaning 100k tracks in my spare time.
However now, I have written all tags to files via select all and write tags. What I have noticed is it seems AIF files are not saving the metadata from VDJ and whenever I try to use Lexicon for example to find genre and year only it will overwrite the vdj database tags.
I then tested by restoring vdj via veeam to recover all the lost aif tags. I dragged into itunes and the aif metadata is also not present there either. Meaning VDJ cannot write tags to AIF..
Is this a known issue? I have tried simply just reloading tags after restoring vdj folder and it still deletes tags meaning it isn't writing the vdj tags to files.
I have read on Apple Forum that there is an issue with this if WAV converted to AIF, I cannot remember if this is what I did as the files are years old but were likely imported from a CD into Itunes at the time.
Any help would be great
Thanks
