Djay (Algoriddim) has amazing audio effects, i think virtual dj is getting one step back. is possible to recreate for example hands up effect ? (mac)

hands up effect? pretty sure you mean the audio sample.
that sample has been part of the software for years and is one of the native samples included in the software and if it's missing you can always re-install it or add your own.
would help a whole lot if you read the manual's section on the Sampler and watched the tutorial videos as well.
 
djay ai algoriddim has an audio effect ( no sample ) called hands up
 
tried to search for an example and couldn't find one. got a link showing this effect? i don't have an ipad - 'i'm allergic to apple products and would send any dj showing up to the club with one to mix with how to find his way out of the club.
 
I've just had a dig around in the app and eventually found it. It's a macro effect, which sounds to me like a combination of loop slicer and filter. Nothing VDJ can't do natively.
 
so essentially an effect called 'hands up' that has nothing to do with actually having 'hands up'?

i'm underwhelmed

Me: Why? You're the one asking, actually... good luck with that, I'm going to go back to not caring.
 
I’ve tried to recreate the effect but for me its not easy , i only wanted to have the same effect on vdj with only one button that vdj doesnt have , if someone think that in this forum we cannot ask for help , where ? Yes i think is a combination of slicer filter and noise. And also anothers effect are cooldown and landing, it jelps me a lot in my mixes

You can ask but it doesn't help your case if all you offer is a name. I might be able to make it, I might be able to script it, but I have no idea what it is and I'm not going searching what it is - that's your job, you're making the request so you provide links to examples.

5 private videos and no timestamp on any of them...
 
Translation (to my ears at first listen):

Cooldown = reverb and filter
Hands Up = sliced loop + filter
Hydrant = loop (decreasing) and reverb
Landing = loop that fades out
Rocket = filter and white noise

.....to give them meaningful names.

 
Could be , is possible to recreate in virtual dj each effect with one custom button ?

one experiment, rough but that's all I could be bothered doing today.
that's just the native fx with a special skin I made, upto 4 fx with up to 2 dial movements per effect
