Stock mapper is good but I can't seem to add deck level control to the faders. Tried inner / outer K22D, also K2 Fader but they still don't control the deck levels... Anyone with a K2 able to map the faders?

The Vertical faders of the K2 are not assigned to any action.

Ok. Problem fixed. On my mac I get 3 k2 controller entries appear and to make it work I needed to edit the third one showing in the menu and not the first! The first 2 need to be set to 'factory' the third is now 'custom'.

So, you have 1 K2 connected, but you get 3 in VDJ ?
K2 is connected directly to USB or via XLink of another A&H device ?

K2 is only controller, connected via usb to thunderbolt dock. I always get 3 entries when controller is plugged in, and those 3 disappear when unplugged.
