On the verbs page (https://virtualdj.com/manuals/virtualdj/appendix/vdjscriptverbs.html) under show_splitpanel it gives an example show_splitpanel 'sidelist' 50% this does not work it appears show_splitpanel only accepts 'sideview' as a parameter if you wish to get to 'sidelist' you have to do show_splitpanel 'sideview' 50% & browser_window 'sidelist'.

sidelist is a valid split as well in the default skin, when showHorizontalSidelist is enabled.
Furthermore, if you are making your own custom skin, you could use split panels with any name you like, so this is just an example of where to put the name.
