Hello...what is the default videomaxmemory for the M1 Pro chip? I have a 16 inch M1 Pro, 1 TB SSD, 16 gig Ram...I changed it to 2048....Not sure whether the videomaxmemory can be changed. I am experiencing issues with video effects (visible texts and slideshow) not displaying on external monitors (TVs).

I have an M1 Max with 64gb ram and it's set to 8000. Keep in mind vram and system memory are shared on apple silicon so whatever your gpu is using will be unavailable for the rest of the system, so you may want to try 4000 or 6000 since you only have 16 gigs.
