I have a possible solution for all users who cannot see Virtual DJ's (Virtual) Folders and Playlists in SS. If files with non-XML-compatible file names or ID tags are in the database, the XML validation does not pass. SS then aborts further processing. The files in question can be found in the database.xml with XML Spy or Notepad++, for example, and must be removed from the hard disk. Then clean up the database in VDJ. And then playlists, folders and beatgrids are usable.
Now it would be nice if VDJ could display faulty files for correction.

What is a non xml compatible filename?
