hi everybody-

I am considering getting this laptop:

-Processor : Intel Core i7-12650H 10 x 1.7 - 4.7 GHz, 100 W PL2 / Short Burst, 80 W PL1 / Sustained, Alder Lake-P
-Graphics adapter : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU - 8 GB VRAM, Core: 1290 MHz, Memory: 1500 MHz, 105 W TDP ( including 25 W Dynamic Boost), GDDR6, 31.0.15.1659, Optimus
-Memory :16 GB , DDR5 4800, dual-channel mode, two memory slots (both in use)
-Display :15.60 inch 16:9, 2560 x 1440 pixel 188 PPI, BOE CQ NE156QHM-NY1, IPS, AdaptiveSync, glossy: no, 165 Hz
-Mainboard: Intel Alder Lake-P PCH
-Storage: Samsung PM991a MZVLQ1T0HBLB, 512GB , 2x M.2 2280

will it be good for real time stems 2 separation ?
what speed of real time separation would i get ? 20x ? more ? less ?

please give me your feedback

RTX 3060 Laptop with 6GB VRAM gives speeds around 20x
So, RTX 3070 with 8GB VRAM should definitely give more than 20x
Also RTX 3080 is around 28x
This means that most likely RTX 3070 should be around 23-24x

Yeah I would agree with that. I have the RTX3080ti and get 28.5x in balanced mode and 31.5x in performance mode.
