So I have a set of LC6000’s paired up with a set of SC 5000m’s and everytime I start them up the lights on the buttons never light up until I press them.

The buttons never light up on the LC6000’s never light up until pressed.

So basically I have to go and press every button before I even start playing on them.

I use the power adapter that came with them so I don’t believe it’s a power issue.

Can y’all tell me what I need to be looking for or need to change??

I don’t have this issue with SDJ, it only happens with VDJ 🤦🏾‍♂️

Was it always like that ?
Same if just the 2 LCs (no 5000Ms) ?
What if you goto Settings , right-click on an LC6000 and choose Reconnect ?
 
As far back as I can remember it’s always done it, with it without the 5000’s …

I’ll make a video tonight and show you exactly what’s happening.

Weird huh!

Not a deal breaker for me but definitely annoying to say the least …..
 
Have you connect the LC6000s direct to your MAC(USB HUB) or pluged in the SC5000m.
When you plugged in the SC please test with a direct connection to the MAC.
 
I’ll try it again but I shouldn’t have to do that.

The hubs on the 5000m’s should be enough even with the power adapters.

I’ll report back in a few 🤙🏾
 
Ok so I tried them into an Anker powered hub and whenever I select a deck all the lights go out.

What is wrong??

Again this doesn’t happen with SDJ….
 
After u select the Deck on LCs, goto Settings, Mapping tab, right click on a LC6k and choose Reconnect.
Do leds light up or going back to Deck selection mode ?
 
Makes no difference



It’s like it’s losing the signal for some reason 🤷🏾‍♂️
 
Ok, will check tomorrow with my LCs
 
I can't reproduce (at least with the LC6000 plugged directly to USB). I emailed Denon for further assistance. Will let u know.

Like I said it doesn't effect my playing its just annoying lol!!

Checked with the Djay app on my phone and iPad and all the lights stay lit up 🤷🏾‍♂️

Definitely a VDJ bug…..
 
It's a firmware bug fixed at some point by the time we were implementing LC6000 to VirtualDJ (working on my units - flashed with a pre-released firmware version). The fix was supposed to be available in a firmware update Denon said will be upload but dont see that yet in https://www.denondj.com/downloads
 
Well that’s a bummer it’s not released yet but at least I know there’s a “fix” I guess
