Hi. I'm facing the first big problem with my equipment. I've owned the Pro Infinity since yesterday and have been testing it all day.
I'm working with a MacBook Pro 2012 i5 and American Audio VMS5.
The following problem: from time to time the sound suddenly distorts completely, i.e. it sounds like an 8-bit sound. After restarting the program, it's gone again. However, it happens again and again. The sound is distorted 3 times out of 10 times starting VDJ. The VMS5 is set to 8out. When I set the switch to 4out the problem doesn't seem to occur. I started VDJ 20 times, the sound stayed clean.
But I have to have 4 channels. Channel 1 analogue for the CD player, 2 and 3 for the MacBook and 4 for pre-listening. Or can you do that with two channels?
Tried it as a test with Mixxx, no problems. The problem also exists with my replacement controller, also VMS5. I hope you can help?
