Hi, I'm new here and looking for some technical advice.
I'm looking to playback Dolby Atmos MP4 or MKV files, with 7.1.4 channel formats in virtual DJ and have the multi channel atmos audio channels output via the HDMI connector of my laptop. The HDMI will then connect to a AV Processor to be decoded and sent to a 7.1.4 speaker system.
Question: can virtual DJ playback the atmos file and output the atmos channels via the HDMI connector?
I have tried to do it, but only seem to get the 2ch stereo track that is also included with the Atmos files.
I have my PC connected to a AV Processor with the HDMI cable and the Dolby Atmos spatial sound app running on the PC.
