Topic: Problem with sampler.

Hi all, I’m having an options problem. I have lost the ability to stab (gate) the sampler pads, I press them and they play to the end of the sample.

What is the setting to enable the Gate (like the hot cue gate) feature.

Try setting the trigger mode to "Hold"
 
Hi Klaus, thanks for that. I always forget about the ‘“dot” menus. Tried to search the option and found nothing.

easiest to set as Klaus has shown.. but can set in options, with samplerTriggerMode

One can add a script to the keyboard ONINIT, to set the that setting, as one prefers.. so to not be surprised in the heat of the moment, when the trigger mode is not as expected.

for example:
setting 'samplerTriggerMode' "hold"
 
Can change sampler playback mode quickly at the dedicated button for it as well
