When loadSecurity on and a looped sample is playing and trying to close VirtualDJ the dialog box 'track playing' appears and disappear flashing at the size of sample loop
This is a fun effect but not really usable: the sample have to be clicked (simplest way) or one of the the flashing buttons in a way to stop

does not do it if output is headphones only
in unmute mode it's hard to stop
key enter helps or sampler pad
but does it for both audio or video samples here
as well with long unfinished not loop samples popup flashing in rhythm

Time to answer, VDJ don't want to close, still 3 background instances with 7 threads "with one or more thread in wait state" or "running normally" since your post (just multiple click and default skin) will try to kill them next to 1Hour if still running
no visible activity : not registered in task manager, no network, no memory acces, no disc access and even no processor activity, status running
the flashing popup is new but yes it looks like the reason is a touchscreen key with repeat loop
(attempt to prevent closing at first / spurious touch) reducing the delay make it more stable
So that's only with some of my skins
