Topic: Accented characters on Mac

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

If you want to use an accented character such as é or ñ anywhere on a Mac (not just in Apple apps... anything from anyone works the same) you just press and hold the base key for about a second and the option to choose the accents just pops up. But in VDJ if I hold the 'e' key (for example) down for any length of time all I get is lots of eeeeeeeeeee s.

Why does VDJ not honour the standard keyboard entry method? Is there a way to turn it on? And how are people putting accents into their comments and tags without having to write everything somewhere else first and copying it across?
