Imagine I've got slip mode on and stem separation on as well on the vocals specifically (only one track is playing). I'm scratching the vocals but when I let go I think it takes about a half second for the slip mode to 'correct' the vocal track and start playing it where it should be. If I could set a 2 or 4 beat delay so the slip mode doesn't kick in instantly I could do flares on the vocal track I'm scratching and after a certain amount of beats .. slip mode would do what it does and be back to the right point in the vocal recording. What do you think?

so do a stem mute, seems the easiest way I can think of.
