the headphones settings are mess up every serato controller i use with virtual dj is messing up

auto selecting deck? or hearing master instead of cue channel?

Trying to cue on my ddj sx3 with my headphones. No prefade listen while one track is playing. how di I fix that?

On the DDJ-SX3 you select what channel to hear in the headphone at the channel CUE buttons at mixer section. https://www.virtualdj.com/manuals/hardware/pioneer/ddjsx3/layout/mixer.html (#4)
Additionally you have headphone level knob, and headphone mix knob at front of the mixer
The headphone mix knob adjusts the blend between master and cue channel

For it to work as it should, you need correct audio settings, see bottom of page here:
