Over 10 years ive ran into this only a few times but its very annoying to my OCD.
It has happened on different computers and with different ripping software, lets see if i can explain it when the track it playing it sounds like it has a pulsing gain drop at beats, lets say the track is ripped mp3, wav, flac makes no difference play that ripped track on any playback device and the problem is there,
But the cd in most cases plays just fine in any player,
Last night i thought i could pin it down, i had a retail cd that played fine in the car, but if i tried to play it with vdj
Track 3 was doing this odd distortion, playing directly from disc thru vdj after many tests with many rippers and computers all come out with this weird pulsing effect, but like i said its rare, like perhaps 5-10 tracks out of 20k will do it.
Has anyone experenced this ? Is it likely an issues with the track on the disk? Im curious enough to buy another disc just to see if that has any effect,
