I had a thought. Would it be possible to add a mono effect so the vocal stem rides center when isolated?...IMHO, its great..it comes down to some songs being mixed better than others..I can get almost pure separation on some, while on others. thanks for reading...

For now, it's just some experiments, tested the followig way :
for only vocal; 2 decks is enough, clone deck, isolate in one deck, solo in the other one, apply filters and play sync
(in 4 decks skins, better use 1+3 / 2+4 and 'faderStartStop on' because crossfader launch both in sync in this case)
but VDJ can do much more
load the track in as many decks you need for stems (I used 4 in test rhythm; + bass + instru + vocal using 8 decks skin)
VDJ will load & compute stems only once and share between decks, just fine
solo stems one per deck
then create some set of "stem" commands to play scratch loop & move & cue
now fx, not only mono & pan can apply as per stem
it's just fine :) i.e.: dubs on rhythm, punch on bass, harmonics+placement on vocal whide stereo to instru ...
a test 'stem dedicated' keyboard map helps greatly
