Question, Can there be two database files listed and/or combined to one or just one?

each drive that holds tracks has its own database
 
i know that. but can two databases be listed and work on one drive

no, vdj looks in a known folder for a xml file with a known name, 2 files in 1 folder can't have the same name, to be honest I don't get why you're asking, why you would have need for this.
