话题: virtual dj 2021 dx11 error
hello i keep getting a (dx11 error: 334:80070057) error when i open VDJ 2021!??? says something about the video card but i just did a update on windows and drivers

Update the graphic card drivers to the very latest


And what version of Windows are you using?

far time ago "d3d11: failed to create .... id=334 [D3D error was 80070057]"
was related to wrong GPU memory detection with NVIDIA GeForce xxxx drivers
manually adjusting setting videoMaxMemory helped some guys

You dont have Nvidia (you said Intel 3000), so I guess the above suggestion dont apply. But you can always try in VirtualDJ settings, you find videoMaxMemory there

Not bring back a dead topic... But

I keep at random getting this error;
dx11 error: 316:887a0004 - Failed to initialize.

My System;
Processor 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700H 2.60 GHz
Installed RAM 64.0 GB (63.7 GB usable) DDR5
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
WIN PRO 11 v22h2 OS build 22621.2428

GPU Intel Iris Xe Graphics (Alder Lake-P 682 GT2)
Video Card; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop (GA106M) 6Gb DDR6 - Driver 537.58


ALL DRIVERS ARE UP TO DATE

My question is; If I get this error and do nothing other than restart it a couple of times and it magically goes away. What is the actual problem? It will go away for a couple of days/weeks/month, then it's just back.
Restart a few times and its gone. I did nothing other than restart.

I have DirectX 12 stable release installed.
I ran DirectX Diagnostic Tool and no problems were found.
Ran full system scan, all is good.
Ran HWiNFO64, all is good.

If everything is up to date. What would cause the error to be intermittent?
And I only get the error when loading VirtualDJ. No other app triggers the error code.

Have you tried in the nvidia config to force the nvidia card when you lauch the virtualdj.exe process?
Just to check if you also have the error.

Could you also upload here a screenshot taken with gpu-Z for both cards?
