Topic: non motorised jog wheel for scratching only

I have a Numark NVII with non motorised platters. Is there any way I can make the platters only work for scratching. I never want the platters to pitch bend. Is there any way I can turn pitch bend off so they only ever behave as scratching vinyl style platters?
