For the first time ever that I can recall, I had an application hang in the middle of a show. I'm an occasional user, so generally VDJ will update almost every time I start up the program to get things ready for the event. It did so earlier this week and made it fine about 2/3 of the way through. All of a sudden, I got a screen flash (I thought it was a camera) then a VDJ isn't responding. The song continued and I allowed it to play, but had to choose between "wait" or "close". I faded after the song, hit the close and it exited. I started it right back up, and the first thing it did was my controller wasn't responding, and there was a database error. All my bpm's and tags on the songs that were loaded in the playlist seemed to have reverted to the file title.
I finished the next 2 songs and they went to an intermission, I exited VDJ and restarted it, it said that VDJ was already running! So then I rebooted and brought it back. My controller still didn't work and I finished the night without it.
First time ever with a crash. It did leave the following with 3 events leading up to it, but this was the EventLog error:
The program virtualdj8.exe version 8.4.5504.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.

Just wanted to share if it was in fact an error. I haven't tested the controller this morning, but will do so today.
