话题: Relocate bug

由于该帖子已年深日久，可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

I moved these missing files with VDJ browser and then this happens.

as you can see in this video if i relocate a file in this virtual folder, leave the folder and come back, its missing again.

also this happens with all the files in this folder that are missing.

No ideas how i can correct this?

Looks like it is a filter folder and not a virtual folder?
(Although the database should still be updated by the relocate action, so it does indeed looks like something is not working correctly)

Also, is it possible that the correct item is also in the list? (since it seems to be sorted by year, perhaps the correct file is also listed further down?)

yes it appears they are (the corrected ones in the list)

so how do i remove the incorrect ones

cleaning the database doesn't work also remove from searchDB doesn't work.

ok most of them are in there as duplicates but not all and i have run the relocate on them all.

I just tried to manually correct the database (in a text editor) for one that wasn't in there as duplicate and i still get the missing entry so weird.

ok so i believe i solved this issue

when you move files within VDJ with the Move to command is does not update virtual folders paths and for some reason my filter folder was pulling info from these broken links in the virtual folders.

fixed the virtual folders and it fixes the filter folder

not sure how it works makes much sense but i solved the issue.

I would think filter folders would only pull information from real folders not virtual folders.
