Hi team, like a comment, I usually use pitch stretch option in 1, this has a better response on high frecuencies on range of 5% if pitch, after that %, sound has bad quality and has multiples echos by stretch, in that way, option 2 improve this bad quality,

Therefore, it would be a good option if the algorithm also worked according to the percentage of pitch used.
Lower pitch, automatically use option 1, higher pitch, 2.. and 3

Regards.

pitchquality 3 doesn't improve things for you?

Yes, but in lower % of pitch, music lose a lot of high frecuencies in compare with mode 1. ( I could say definition or clarity of high frecuencies)

I think that in the way timestretch works in repeating small fragments of music this could cancel out or decrease the high frequencies via phase matching.

A minor porcentage of pitch require a less effort, this could improve system too.

I noticed that too,

the quality "3" setting sounds without artifacts but I loose some highs,
The bass punch(the sharp begginning of beat) is smoothed out, too.

Only when tempo is reset to 0, the sound is fine again.
If I remeber correctly, windows version of VDJ7 used the dirac.dll time stretch but not on a mac.
I am on mac and not sure if the mac and windows versions of virtual dj 8 are the same.
