I’m noticing with the new update I run into a sound quality issue every once in a while. It seams like I have some type of filter or effect on but I don’t use effects. The only way I can get the song to sound 100% again is reset the factory mode. Any ideas? Is there away to just turn effects off?

I'd suggest you try switching exclusiveAudioAccess to see if that helps.
If it's on, try it off. If it's off, try it on.
Also try adjusting the VDJ latency setting.
Are you using a controller or external audio interface? Which one? Which OS?

i am having the same issue all music played has a popping noise regardless if i use vdj 8 or vdj20 i have tried running the sound thru pc and my gemini gv and gv2 and it all does the same thing music files are all mp4 with studio quality sound

Run a latency monitor to see if your PC has any issues which might affect its ability to play music in real time.

Thanks groovindj. I will try that. What does it do? Also it even happens when I’m not using my v7 controller, but I guess it could be causing it.
