I know there have been a few threads on this, however still having some issues.
Build 5046, zerodb set to -3 and auto gain set to auto. I use the ddj1000 and have the master output between 25%-33%. The VU meters are never closed to pinned in VDJ or the ddj1000, however the limiter has been kicking in and the volume is fluctuating.
If none of my levels are peaking, why would the limiter be engaging? any suggestions how to not get VDJ to clip? I've also been using VDJ for years now, any ideas why this has only become an issue recently?

DDJ-1000 has also a limiter build in firmware. Make sure you have set it to off.
Also zerodb = -3db is a high value for this device. Pioneer designed the device to be used with -6db or -9db headroom.
I have no issues with sound here running DDJ-1000 at -6db (zerodb) and build-in peak limiter enabled.

Thanks for the info! I believe I already have the ddj1000 limiter off, however will double check and lower the zerodb settings.
If my VU meters (channel or master) in VDJ are not peaking though, why would the internal limiter kick in?
