I cant get this broadcast thing set up for nothing... keep getting this error message
Ups! Failed to connect to the DJs broadcast.
This broadcast is not reachable. Either the DJs computer has not open port for incoming connections, or the DJ has already ended the broadcast.
If you have an connection error showing on page here, the DJ might need to open up port 8000 in firewall to be reachable for incoming connections
it did work one or twice on my phone but stopped working. worked once on my laptop even tho the error message came up.
I've opened ports both on my computer, virus protection and router. I even went so far as to shut the firewalls and virus protection off and still nothing. beginning to think the problem is on their side. makes no sense. if anybody got any ideas please clue me in....

I used to get same message.
VirtualDJ needs to be made exception in firewall:
after doing this I had no issues connecting

Any options for MacOS? I can't get it to work even though I allowed incoming connections for VirtualDJ.
Update: It was my Google wifi mesh network, which was blocking the port or something. I connected to my actual router and it worked fine.
