Hi people,,
I'm on vdj 8 running windows seven.
halfway through a gig i had to restart my pc, when it restarted I tried to load another video track into one of the platters and although the audio plays the video didnt.
the slider-cross faders are all fine, my cables to the split screen are all present and correct. I am now at home and I have the small 2nd video screen on my laptop and it is still just black.
I tried all four decks on my skin, with or without the sz controller. Ive change to a two deck skin. still no joy.
I have tried ctrl and the V button
tried restarting still the same
........................
EDIT as I am writing this post it has started to work when I loaded a different deck.. I really do not know what I did.... could it be that I vlicked on the number one of the deck I was using? For future reference I want to know ! :)
This did happen to me about a year ago and it just started working half hour later, I cannot remember what I did to get it started..

A Man and His Music
You don't sound like a clown, and it may be very simple. Make sure the video crossfader is on the deck with the video. Make sure the "videoVolumeLink" is set to no.
