I just bought a controller that was working when demoed on my laptop but since i got it home it dosent. loaded latest firmware,got a pro membership and still nothing.
it is recognised by the program and receives an audio signal but no midi control to lap top. This is my last option, ive done some research, i know about the int mix/pc mix and channel knob positions for proper set up. idont think all the lights are on either only blue. i also reset VDJ settings to factory. Any help would be appreciated

When you power it up does it go through the light startup sequence? Mine lights each light up over a few seconds and is then ready to go. Here’s what it should look like:

USB cable is good?
Did VDJ notice it when first started up? You would have received a pop-up notice on your screen.

Also could be a USB conflict. Try usbdeview to uninstall unused USB devices and clear the ports.

also ensure you don't have any other software running simultaneously, which may require access to the midi device - a DAW or light software for example.
