Hi all, please be good to me, as i am a complete novice in this field. Ok, here i go,
I purchased off a friend, Vdj pro on a 1tb external hard drive and laptop, fully loaded. He said to take back to him every 4 weeks or so so he can update it for £10 a time. this is not a problem, but why can't i update it? when i boot up, it comes up with, i think what wants his password, then continues without issue to Vdj. Also i need a controller, about £250, but concerned that some come with Vdj or serato , but i already have vdj, and worried that if i start to run the program that it comes with, it will overwrite my Vdj and lose all my tracks/videos etc. any help on all of this would be gratefully received, Thanks, Jim.

What you are doing is totally illegal. Licenses are non transferable. If Atomix catch him doing this his license will be revoked. Not to mention the illegal music and videos.

Besides the reasons given above, you are paying for updates that are free to the rest of us. So, you have paid for an illegal copy of the software, and are now paying for free updates. Think about that for a moment.
