Topic: Black screen

I just changed the skin to mixlab and everything froze and now when I start VDJ8, I only get a black screen.

Alienware, I7 quad core 2.6, 16 GB, Win 10, VDJ8.2

Can you answer these questions for me? Go into Documents, VDJ, Skins, delete that skin. Does VDJ open now?
 
It made no difference.

I don't know what exactly happened, but my PC sound is completely gone as well. Currently running scans to determine what I need to do to fix the sound.
 
close from task manager, then reload VDJ then try pressing SHIFT+ESC to open Options if it will let you then try switching skins from there if it opens
 
Fixed the sound by updating the drivers.

Out of interest, when you say "mixlab" which version exactly are you referring to?

There are several Mix Lab skins by DJ Format, and various mods by other people too.
