Is there a way of detecting the bitrate of online music before dragging it on to the deck? Or, better still, is there a way of filtering out any bitrate below, say 320, before the search results load?

The bitrate is not the key factor! For example an old 50's recording may be very poor quality yet it might be provided as a 320kb/s mp3. Two ways exist to check a mp3..one is to listen to it, which is time consuming, or use a program like Spek to view the freq. range and distribution. The latter is a quick but not perfect since the song could be high bitrate but still poor quality. Also I don't see how Spek could be used to check a streamed mp3.

If you are looking for high quality then streaming services are not the way forward.

All songs from the streaming services we offer are 320kbps as far as I know. Do you have any example of a song that isn't?

Netsearch has not been a part of the software for some time, so I edited the title of this thread. No need for confusion.
