is there aw´ way to just download the exe file ?
 
No, there used to be but the link was removed. I keep an extractor program on my laptop so I can split down the MSI and get the EXE on its own if needed.

My evening started of really bad. I did a soundcheck earlier and had no problems with my Pioneer DDJ SX2 connection.
When I arrived to start the gig, the driver didnt connect right (on both my computers).
Im glad that I had internet and very quick support from you Wicked in all the stress I was going through.

btw 7zip a free download from http://www.7-zip.org/ will let you extract the exe from the msi files on windows
 
My advice would be to keep a collection of previous builds/versions on the computer. With hard drive sizes these days, there's no reason not to.
 
I also have two computers and don't update both at the same time.
My backup system keep an older build that I know is stable, so I can switch fast over.
 
I second that emotion of the last two post. I also have a few mixes on my phone and several on a mp3 player. I have to be careful on the phone because my emergency numbers will come thru. Glad everything worked out.
 
I only have one computer, but I also have a Denon HD2500 USB controller with a backup collection of about 2000 songs (my top 2000 play count from VDJ). I also have that backup collection on 2 other USB sticks, for when I'm booked in a venue where I don't have to bring my own equipment (my HD2500 is build into my own drive-in-show).
