Hello common vj8 user :-)
I have moved all my songs from the music folder, to my dropbox folder.
Now it seems none of my virtueal folders works. Should I again be creating new collections? And what about the the history folder.
Was it a bad idea to move my tracks?
It is a vdj8.2 mac

You should had moved your files from within VirtualDj browser. Currently VirtualDj does not know that the "new" files on "Dropbox" folder are your "old" files...

I've seen a number of people do this and yes it can and does work.
As Phantom said, VDJ doesn't know the difference between a new or old 'fresh' track, so you may have a problem there, however remember that for virtual folders to work, two files must be present. 1- 'order' file, 2- '[filename].vdjfolder'.
Though I don't use Dropbox for this, I had some problems moving virtual folders around (they just stopped working), and then I found out that the 'order' file needed to be present as well. Once I moved that into place, smooth sailing!!
