Upon searching I didn't find anything about an optimizer. Help! I want to improve the performance of this lappy.
In the past, I used a batch file that I found here years ago (and I customized it a little) for Windows 7 and VDJ 7. Now I'm on Win 10 with the latest version of VDJ. When I run the old script, it's not killing some of what Microsoft calls "important" apps.
Has anyone updated or have a similar script or app to do the same thing - turn off the unnecessary garbage not needed to DJ? I'd even like to DELETE the bloatware on here (Cortana, etc).

Personally I would advice to stay clear of any optimizer. Unless you truly understand what they are doing (and that requires a *lot* of reading and understanding about how windows works) they may be doing more harm then good.
