Good morning. ....playing the other night and music was loading and sounding great then loaded the next song and no audio at all....shut it down and then all worked .....again after about 2 hrs of playing did the same......found out Windows did a major update installed that and seems to fix the problem but not sure as it happens after about 2 to 5 hrs of playing.....have you heard this happening?

Anything can happen with windows updates, turn off the update service and set your connection to 'metered' then stay on top of updates yourself

ok thank you....what does metered do? I will check every week to make sure before every gig...thanks

Metered is a windows 10 option, if you're on a metered data tariff you don't want windows running off downloading huge updates
the option is found,start menu, settings, network + internet, wifi, pick your network scroll down on this page to advanced options, then set to metered connection.
entirely the wrong idea, check when you have no gigs for a few days, give yourself as much time as possible to react if something goes wrong
