Can I use 2 identical controllers with VDJ 8? Both with custom mapping? I heard somewhere there are problems with that.

There wont be an issue. But as far as i recall both will use the same mapping (cant have one unit on one custom mapping and the other to a different one)
Working with identical controllers is not something new. It works like that when identical single-deck units are connected such as CDJs. However, you need to make sure that the devices are assigned to the "correct" decks. There is a chance that one unit is e.g. assigned to decks 1,2 and the other to decks 3,4 (or is that what you want ?)
