My CPU meter goes up and down a lot. The waves are shaky. Some mixes are tight, some aren't.

Can you open Task Manager and see if VirtualDJ is the one that makes your CPU going up and down ?
Keep in mind that the CPU meter on the Skin is showing the total cpu usage, coming from all applications running on your computer and not just VDJ

I had to uninstall a few programs. One was constantly running in the background. I had just did a windows reinstall two weeks ago. After cleaning these programs out VDJ is working flawlessly.
