why is the key showing to some tracks Eb or Ebm

If you are talking about when you are playing a track, it's because you need to click on where you are seeing the key and it'll switch it over to the Camelot numbers.

If you are talking about in your library list, you need to change the key column to "harmonic" by right-clicking the column name.

As far as changing it in the player, you'll actually have to do it every time since for some reason VDJ won't remember it.

Some tracks are a 'Major' key and some are a 'Minor'.

i understand all of that,
i have all my keys writen with my tags in perfect order,
but since ive gone to 8.2 tags that i have already writen,
some have changed to Eb or Ebm,
i see as this should not happen because i have all ready put the key to the track when i tag my tunes.

hello vdj hope alls well,
it seems to put key of ebm & eb on d# and d#m
 
D sharp and E flat are the same thing.
 
whys it not doing the keys to tracks the same as 8.1

Most musicians agree that it is uncommon to write the key as D#. Eb is a much more common key, that is why it was changed.
