I already subscribe to content unlimited, but is there a way to store some of my music files, and access them in the same way as content unlimited......via a cloud service or by setting up some kind of home server......Really new to this, but my HDD has too many tracks I seldom play, but I would still like to keep accessible.

There are ways to create a network tunnel to your private home network and map a drive that you can access. However, if you have spotty network connections, this may cause issues within windows and VDJ.
Another way you can do it is with something like Readyshare through a Netgear router. This is been reliable for other uses with me. But, it is limited in that you could not pull up your music in a search within VDJ.
I think at this time external drives are the best option if you do not want to increase the storage internally in your PC
