I am about to get some lights to add to my mobile DJ rig and I need some help... What is the best software to use that will work with VDJ on a Mac? (price does not matter)

I assume you want to be able to control the lights using DMX, and want to be able to have the DMX messages automatically react to the sound coming from VDJ?
All my light runs on programs or sound activation (small mics in the effects), so I have't tried this myself, but this may be what you are looking for:

I have a Mac and I was using a PC to run my showXpress,then I ask my self why can my MAC run VDJ and ShowXpress @ the same time and use just one computer.YES no high CPU and both ran smooth.All DMX and wireless http://www.asthedj.com

How do you have everything set up? Also are the two programs connected to each other?
