Topic: Mono in VDJ 8 and Hercules RMX

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

Equipment:
VirtualDJ 8.1 (pc) build 2857.116
Hercules RMX (package 4.HDJS.2015)
Lenovo T420 laptop

I've been trying for a while to find a way to run VDJ in dual mono (so the same sound comes out both speakers). After much searching, I came across a forum post here: http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/178431/General_Discussion/TOGGLE_BETWEEN_STEREO_AND_MONO.html

Essentially, I assign two masters in the audio section, one pointing to Chan1(mono) and the other pointing to Chan2(mono). I then assign Chan3/4 to headphones. I've attached a screenshot of my setup.

For those that can't see the pic:

Source Sound Card Channel
Master 3-Hercules (etc.) Chan1(mono)
Master 3-Hercules (etc.) Chan2(mono)
Headphones 3-Hercules (etc.) Chan3&4

When listening on the headphones on the RMX I still hear the standard stereo separation, but when I listen through my outboard mixer - either headphones or through the PA - I hear the same signal from both channels, or dual mono.

I've tested this with:
Van Halen's "Unchained" - Eddie's guitar is always panned hard left, with an echo on the right
The Mamas and the Papas "California Dreamin'" - crazy 60's stereo
The Beatles "A Day in the Life" - crazy 60's stereo
Motley Crue "Dr. Feelgood" - Starting at 0:31 going until vocals start there's a cowbell panned hard left. It's also there under the "mini-solo" starting at 2:00. Obviously, more cowbell is needed.
