"sampler_bank" names in the Sampler are now very tiny and difficult to read. I have to mouse right click to see the drop down to know what is active on top by the check mark.

Notice in sampler, Project@8 is present also never had before.

Notice this before I installed 8.1, on this laptop project@8 is absent, however sampler _bank name are tiny. Yes, V8 default skin .
Screen shot is crappy will do another.

Samplerbank name appears fine here. Did you try to reset settings.xml ?

What resolution is your screen? Skins for VDJ 8 are all 1920x1080 (unfortunately) which means that on lower res screens, many parts can get really small.
If you use an old skin (made for VDJ 7) which is the exact resolution of your screen, you'll most likely find that the browser (etc) is more sensibly sized.

you can save your settings xml first then move to a backupfolder.
if the reset of the settings.xml is not successful you can restore the file using your backup.
