Has anyone used the Karaoke service?

What are the pros and cons?

What equipment do I need for it?

Thanks in advance

I have the subscription but don't use it very often. I did, however, have a chance to use it over this past weekend at a gig where there were many young'uns and I decided to engage them with some karaoke. I was surprised how many recent songs were in the database; in the past, there didn't seem to be anything newer than about 6 months in there at any given time. I also had quality/syncing problems in the past, but didn't experience any of that here.
As for equipment, you obviously need something to display the text, and an internet connection. I used my iPhone as a wifi HotSpot and didn't have any problems getting the data quickly enough. I haven't checked how much data I used, but i am always so far under my limit that it shouldn't matter.
You can try it for a month and cancel at any time, and I would say it is worth the $20 to give it a try. It is always better to have a complete karaoke library, but if you're like me, it's not worth the trouble for the few times you would need it.

First of all: Look in the Karaoke catalogue for the songs you (maybe) want to use or popular songs they might ask you.

In Holland, people love to "sing" Dutch songs. Unfortunately, there are no Dutch songs in the Karaoke library.
So the CU karaoke doesn't work for me.

Roy,
I like how you put "sing" in quotes.
