Topic: XDJ R1 Definition File.

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

Using VDJ 8 the XDJ R1 RHS hot cue A button LED does not light up, the other 5 are fine. The mapping appears correct leaving two obvious possibilities, the definition file is in error, or the Pioneer firmware is causing problems.
Is it possible to get hold of the definition file to check ?
Its the only LED causing problems.

The 6 blue lights are nice, but not essential LOL.

Should this be posted as a bug ?

Does the LED work if you use normal CDs ? If its not, then its probably a Hardware issue.

Since we don't have any other reports regarding LED issues with XDJ-R1, can you please let us know EXACTLY which led doesn't function ? And if it's on both decks ?
Also I would suggest you to try to control the LED with a simple command like "blink" in order to ensure whether or not it's the LED that doesn't function and not the script.

Definition files for devices created by the team are internal to VirtualDj 8 and they are protected copyrighted material. Only a very few people inside the team have access to them.

Thank you both for your replies.

It's hardware, or the Pioneer firmware.
I'm sure I saw it working with cd's, and a flash drive a couple of days ago.
They were the first things I checked.
Anyway it won't work at all now.

I think its unlikely that an led has failed in the last few days, but maybe, LED's are normally very reliable.

I've altered a couple of the units settings, such as setting it to hardware mixer mode, and switching off the crossfader fader start.
That should not interfere with a single LED.

Hm.. thinking about it, its likely to be poor soldering. The LED won't have failed.

I don't really know anything about definition files but I'm surprised that there worth copyrighting.
It would have been nice to see how they work.

If I'm not mistaken in v7 download section there are some mappers that include a definition file.
