The instrument pack is still my favourite.
The samples are .vdjsample files.
I changed the extention to .wav and attempted to use them in Ableton.
They would not play.
I then used Audacity to change them into .flac, and then they played.
Are there any legal problems?

My own sample pack, which I made using the Hydrogen Drum Machine consists of .wav files, and it plays ok in Ableton.

The sound format of a .vdjsample file is not limited to flac. The reason it has its own file extension is because it contains extra information as well. (Beat-grid info, picture, loop, ...)

Using Audacity I exported the .vdjsamples to .wav files which did not play in Ableton, however when I exported to .flac it did work.
The Ableton program suggested the files might not be licensed. DRM?
Audacity is well able to deal with a .vdjsample which includes extras.
It's good to be able to move my music around, I don't think Ableton is a threat to Atomix, their more like partners.
The same cannot be said about Serato, and Traktor.
I'm thinking of using a handful of sample sets to bring a sort of theme to my music. These sample sets appearing throughout an evening for various reasons, even occasionally to create a crude whole new song on the fly.
Note: I did also just change the extension. It's worth trying everything.

Ableton has just become my favorite program for making samples sets, and beats.
I'm spoiled for choice, Ableton (cost a lot), Hydrogen, LMMS, and Ardour!
The last 3 are free.
