I'm a newbie so go easy.
I've been a PCDJ user for years.
My old laptop started to develop several lines down the screen and I have now replaced it with a brand new one.
I demoed VDJ8 and PCDJ DEX3 and I'm really liking VDJ.
My new laptop has 2 USB3 ports and I plan to buy a new USB3 hard drive.
I would like advice on USB3 for VDJ, Should I buy a mains powered drive or a portable without mains power.
All help and advice is much appreciated.

I use both types with no issues. I prefer the Western Digital Passport when I'm playing out; less wires is a good thing.
