Hello. I could use some pointers

I need help on how to set up my sounds configs. Does any of your pros out there have any suggestions/tips/snapshots they can offer this newbie?
I want to be able to control the music from my IDJ3 board. I want to be able to play cued music in my headphones(the other deck). The mixer is connected to my IDJ3 board, which then has speakers and mics plugged into the mixer.
With some playing around I've been able to get sound out the speakers but no luck getting cued tracks to play into my headphones. I currently have my headphones plugged into my laptop but am not really sure.

I can't find a VDJ8 manual.
The settings in the VDJ7 manual can be replicated in VDJ8.
The boxes will be in different places.
In VDJ8 go to Setup (top RHS)--->Audio--->a window will open.
Click the box SPEAKER + HEADPHONES , it will turn blue, next click on TWO SOUNDCARDS, that will also turn blue.
Looking below these boxes you will see
master--------------IDJ3----------------------Chan 1&2
headphones------IDJ3----------------------Chan 3&4
From the drop down menus make your configuration look like the above.
I think that will work.
It is possible that a IDJ3 box may appear which will turn blue if clicked.
If so all you have to do is make the settings look like the above.
